Plain-language terms describing how the application is intended to be used and what it does not promise. This summary reflects the current software; the operator should review it before publishing binding terms.
Purpose
MyBuildEstimate AI helps you turn a Bill of Quantities into a cost estimate. It is a calculation and organisation tool: you remain responsible for the quantities, units, rates, assumptions and the final bid you submit.
No guarantee of accuracy
- Calculations follow the documented calculation order and rounding policy shown in the app. Their correctness depends entirely on the inputs you provide.
- Sample rates are placeholders and are not market data. Verify all rates locally before bidding.
- AI extraction and AI analysis are assistive. Extracted values are flagged for review and may contain errors; model confidence scores are self-reported and are not a measure of accuracy.
- The application does not measure drawings and does not provide scheduling, OCR of scanned PDFs, or live regional rates (these are roadmap items).
Accounts
- Keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- AI features are rate-limited (see the Support page for current limits).
Acceptable use
Do not upload content you are not permitted to share, attempt to access other users' data, or interfere with the service.
Changes
Features and limits may change as the product evolves. Material changes to these terms will be reflected on this page.
