Do I need an account?
- No. Click "Try the demo" or "Upload a BOQ" and you are working immediately in a free demo workspace.
- Demo workspaces live in your current browser only and are temporary — they are meant for trying the product and for quick one-off estimates.
- Create a free account (email and password, or Google if you prefer) only when you want projects stored permanently, available on other devices, or shared with colleagues.
- If you sign up while working in demo mode, everything you built is moved into your new account automatically — nothing is lost.
Fair-use and technical safeguards
- These are not plan limits — they protect the service and your data, and apply to everyone equally.
- File uploads are size- and type-checked, and BOQ rows are validated before import.
- AI extraction and AI cost analysis are burst-protected: if many AI requests are fired within the same minute, the next one waits. Manual entry, CSV/Excel import, calculations and exports are never throttled.
- A demo workspace keeps up to 8 projects; a free account has no project limit.
Important estimating disclaimer
- Sample rates shipped with the app are placeholders. Verify every rate against current local supplier, subcontractor and labour pricing before bidding.
- The app does not measure drawings and never invents quantities: quantities come from your BOQ or your input.
- Accuracy depends on your quantities, source documents, assumptions and local market rates. Always review each line item before issuing an estimate.
