What the app does today, where its limits are, and how to reach us.
Accounts
- An account (Google or email/password) is required for projects, BOQ imports, AI extraction, estimates, exports, versions and sharing. There is no anonymous or shared demo workspace.
- Your projects are private to your account and to people you explicitly share them with (viewer / editor roles).
- If a Google account uses the same email as an existing password account, you are asked to confirm that account's password once before the two are linked. Accounts are never merged automatically.
AI usage limits (current)
- Free plan (signed-in): 3 AI requests per minute, 25 per day.
AI requests are BOQ text extraction and AI cost analysis. Manual entry, CSV/Excel import, calculations and exports are not rate-limited.
What the app does and does not do
- It calculates costs from the quantities and rates you enter or import, using a documented, deterministic engine. Every total reconciles with its components.
- It does not measure drawings and does not invent quantities or rates. Missing values stay blank until you enter them (project defaults for waste / escalation / tax are applied only to blank fields and are flagged).
- AI extraction works on text-based PDFs and pasted text. Scanned / image-only PDFs (OCR) are not supported yet.
- Sample rates are placeholders. Local market rates must be verified before bidding.
- Production scheduling and live regional rate feeds are on the roadmap and not available yet.
